Talia Krausz

Filmmaker / Photographer

Talia Krausz is a filmmaker, photographer, social media manager, and life-long learner. She’s grateful to have been raised in New York, appreciating its diversity and artistic culture. Nonetheless, she loves traveling and meeting people of different cultures, exchanging stories and experiences.

Talia is a senior at the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College, studying Media Studies with minors in History and Anthropology. She focuses on filmmaking (with a bias towards documentaries) and has directed, produced, and/or written five short films in the last two years, one of which won Quarter-Finalist at SWIFF. Documentary or scripted, Talia loves diving into the taboo, and sharing the untold stories of the world. Her philosophy is that the less we stigmatize, the more we can understand each other.

Talia has also been an avid photographer for nine years and freelances for various businesses and events. Additionally, she has experience doing social media management for different brands such as Dreamsea Surf Camp and CUNY Career Connect. For fun, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and going to comedy clubs. She’s excited to continue her creative and positively-impactful journey with Stoop Stories!
