Jennifer Peck

Education & Editorial Volunteer

Jennifer Peck is a dedicated educator and community builder with a passion for enriching the lives of students of all ages. With a Master’s Degree in Education from Lehman College and a BA in History from Fisk University, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as an ELA & Social Studies teacher. With over 15 years of teaching experience, including serving as a lead teacher in elementary and middle schools in both Georgia and New York City, Jennifer is committed to laying a foundation of rigor while nurturing a loving and caring classroom environment.


Beyond the classroom, Jennifer is the founder of Plant a Seed Now (PASN), an organization dedicated to creating educational opportunities that integrate the arts and history to enrich the lives of multi-generational students. Her commitment to community engagement extends to her work as a writer, collaborating with organizations such as Girl Trek, Visit Black History, Crown Heights Newsletter and Stoop Stories.
