Thank you for attending our Opening Day Community Celebration, September 18, 2-6pm at Pier 1! where families created their own Stoop Stories and posed for "stoopies" on our mini-stoop.
The Stoop Stories solo exhibit at BCM was designed to inspire and empower kids and families to tell their own stories. It featured three floors of images from our collection, including a Stoop Story by an 11 year old community photographer. Visitors took #stoopies on our indoor stoop and submitted their stories. It was an honor to share hundreds of Stoop Stories at the oldest children's museum in the world.

Qween Jean co-organizes weekly Black trans liberation protests on the stoop at The Stonewall Inn. Like Marsha P. Johnson before her, she leads with love and celebration--truly inspiring people to wake up all over this city. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this piece will benefit The Stonewall Protests.
